Our History
Founded in 1974, The Economic Club of Indiana began with a bold vision: to establish a civic space where influential voices from across the country could speak directly to Indiana’s business and civic leaders. For over five decades, the Club has served as a platform for dialogue around the most pressing issues of the day, hosting U.S. presidents, Fortune 500 executives, economists, and thought leaders across industries.
What began as a luncheon series has evolved into a pillar of Indiana’s civic life—connecting ideas, leaders, and communities in powerful ways.
